Officers from Wigston local policing unit are still trying to locate the occupants of a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene of a collision in Oadby.
The collision occurred at about 8.15am on Wednesday November 16 at the crossing on Ash Tree Road and involved a car and a pedestrian, a 13-year-old girl.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene. The pedestrian received minor injuries and was treated at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
PC Alex Gray is investigating the incident, he said: Its believed the vehicle was a small dark brown or gold4x4 similar to a Nissan Qashqai, possibly a newer model manufacturedlate 2010. The driver of the vehiclemay have turned into Hill Way after the incident.
